You are only a short distance across the border and yet you are really completely gone. A weekend in Antwerp does wonders! And if you want to experience Antwerp in a nice and luxurious way, I have a few nice tips for you!

Sushi deluxe at Roji

You really have to look hard, because Restaurant Roji is a bit hidden. It is located in the middle of the Oude Koornmarkt, but then you have to find the narrow stairs down. Once inside you arrive in a kind of mystical cave that is sleek and yet very attractively decorated. What is special is that this building dates back to the 13th century. There is a lounge area and a bar for an aperitif and at the very back you will find the sushi bar. In the rest of the restaurant you will find cozy tables where you can enjoy delicious dishes by candlelight. The menu has French-Japanese dishes and I can really recommend the sushi. An evening of Roji is not cheap, but it is certainly a very special and delicious evening!

Feek Suites

On the Oude Leeuwenrui (near the Willemdok where the MAS is also located) you will find the super luxurious suites of Feek. Located in a gigantic and beautiful mansion, you can book four suites here that are equipped with every luxury you can imagine. There are four suites in four price ranges, but the master suite really makes your heart beat a little faster. Hostess Sofie brings breakfast in bed in the morning and bicycles are ready to explore Antwerp by bike. Spending the night at Feek Suites isn’t cheap either, but when you eat breakfast in bed in the morning and then step into the hot tub, it’s really worth it!
